This first general configuration tab supplies menu locations for the institutions logo and name as well as institution addresses.
The Logo and College Name fields are populated by engineers from Unit4 Education Solutions. This is written directly into the program code. Should the institution name ever change, contact Unit4 Education Solutions support to amend this field.
To change the logo, copy the new graphics file to the virtual directory from which CAMS runs (http://.../Logo.jpg). The graphics file must be the same size and file type as the original Logo.jpg file. Simply replace the existing Logo.jpg with your logo file named Logo.jpg. This logo is used only in the General CAMS Configuration Tab 1 window.
Complete college address information AND billing address information even if both are the same, as some reports in CAMS use this billing address field to obtain a remit-to address.
Define the SMTP Server. This must be defined (ONLY if using Method 2 SMTP setup as defined in the Managing CAMS Enterprise.pdf document) in order to send email directly out of CAMS, including the CAMS Error Log messages to technical support.
