Mass Update Student Status

This is a stored procedure which is ideally run after data conversion and at the end of the term. This function compares students' cumulative earned hours to the CAMS Registration configuration values and updates the students status as appropriate.

To Mass Update Student Status:

  1. From the CAMS Enterprise Home page, click Tools>Processes>Registration Module >Mass Update Status to access the Mass Update Student Status window.
  2. Select the term for which you wish to run the Mass Update, and then click Process. Upon completion of the process, a data grid displays student status information.

Only those students who have a Student Status for that term will update. The Student Load, College Level and Effective Date will change if CAMS makes changes to the data.

If you manually change one of these fields and then run a Mass Update Student Status those fields will revert to what CAMS determines are correct entries. To prevent manual changes to the College Level from reverting, change the Classification field to Unclassified.
