Course Equivalents

The Course Equivalents screen displays a list of courses that are equivalent to the highlighted course. This feature is designed to link courses at your institution that may have had changes in course ID, description, etc. CAMS will then look at these courses as identical when checking for repeats and prerequisites during registration, degree audit and rebuilding repeats.

To add a course equivalent:

  1. Open the Master Courses window by clicking Registration >Master Courses.
  2. Click the Equivalents tab.
  3. Right-click in the data grid to access the detail entry form.
  4. Use the search icon to locate the equivalent course.
  5. The data grid displays the amount of rows per page as set in CAMS Manager >Configuration; if your Master Course list exceeds this number, click Next to go to the next page. You can also enter a page number then tab or click out of the field to go directly to that page.
  6. Click Add to save the entry or Cancel to exit without saving.
