Class & Attendance Rosters
Once registration is complete, your institution will be able to supply
rosters. In addition to preparing various formats of class rosters, you
will also be able to generate attendance forms, send email messages and
generate mail merges.
To create an attendance form or roster:
- Open
the Registration Print Roster window by clicking Registration
>Offering >Roster >Print Roster.
- Choose
the criteria required in order to match the set of records you desire.
- Click
the Reports tab.
- Select
the desired Report format.
- Click
Print.
Field Descriptions
- Select from any of the following criteria to narrow the output of your
report Term is a required field.
All other criteria selected will be for the Term entered.
- Term - Term Calendar Lookup Table. Select the Term for which you wish roster or
attendance materials.
- Course - Choose
an individual course in order to print roster or attendance materials
for that single course.
- Registration Type - Choose from Official, Unofficial, or
Both categories.
- Faculty Name - Select
a faculty name to print only their rosters.
Note: Faculty users will only have access to course information, including such functions as roster and grade entry for those courses that they have been designated as an instructor.
- Access Campus - Campuses reference table. Choose to select
only students from the chosen Access Campus.
- Course Division - Offering Division glossary table. Name
of the academic division into which the courses fall.
- Cost Center - Cost
Center reference table. Group a set of rosters by their cost center identity.
- Refund Group - Refund
Groups glossary table. Group a set of rosters by their refund identity.
- Status - Use
the Course Offering status to match a set of records (e.g., "Closed"
would capture all rosters for full courses).
- Course Type - To print rosters for a select course
type, such as lecture (LEC), enter the value from Course Offering.
- Show Withdrawn - Logical value to select those who are
(Yes) or are not (No) withdrawn as part of the matching set.
- Show Only Ungraded Students
- Logical value to show (or not) only
ungraded students in the roster.
- Department - Enter
the department defined in Course Offering to print rosters for that department.
- Course ID - Enter the alphanumeric Course ID defined
in Course Offering to print rosters for those specific courses.
- Graduation Range - Match a set of records on the basis of
graduation term(s).
- Specific Grade(s) - If you wish to print rosters for only
students earning a specific grade, select the appropriate grade.
- Combine Cross Listed Courses
- if Yes is
selected, all courses cross listed will be summed together.
- User Defined Grouping
- Match a custom value from the User
Defined Grouping from the Course Offering (not student) value.
