Student Status and Registration

A student must posses a status record for each term for which they register. If a record has not previously been created, one will be generated at the time of registration. Values in the Student Status form that are necessary for fees to be generated at the time of registration include Cost Type, Campus, and Refund Type. Upon registering a student, CAMS will look at the values in this form and apply fees appropriately.

Cost Type - determines under which cost setup the student will fall.
Campus - is necessary in determining appropriate Incidental and Add/Drop fees.
Refund Type - identifies which refund policy is to be applied should the student drop a class or withdraw from your institution.
