TE Report

The Full Time Equivalent (FTE) Reports window evaluates enrolled students for a specified term and generates summary Full Time Equivalency counts. It is important to understand from where CAMS Enterprise pulls the comparative hours when calculating these values. When entering the report form, the hours fields will be populated with default values that are pulled primarily form the CAMS Enterprise Configuration window, Registration tab, Min Full Time Hours, and FTE Full Time Hours. As indicated, these are default values and can be changed here to accommodate your reporting needs. In some cases however, full time hours are different for students in specific academic programs (Major/Minors). To accommodate this need, full time hours can be entered in the Program record located in the Student Status screen. One option is to assign a Major that has a different Full Time Hours setting than what is in the CAMS Enterprise Configuration screen. This will be used when calculating the FTE Report. The second option is to set a number other than zero in the Full Time Hours field and that number will override any Major/Minor entry and will be used in the FTE calculation. If an entry in this field exists for the reporting term, it is this value that will be used. If the field is blank, then the value in the criteria fields of the FTE Report screen will be used.
