Student Extracurricular Activities

The Extracurricular Activities tab of the Student Status window is used to track student's extracurricular activities on a term-by-term basis. These extracurricular activities can be sports, clubs, organizations, theater events, etc. Extracurricular activity values are held in the EXT CURRIC ACT glossary table in CAMS Manager >Lookup Table Options >Table Maintenance.

To add an extracurricular activity:

  1. Access the Student Status window by clicking either Admissions >Students >Student Status or Registration >Academic >Status.
  2. Highlight the appropriate term, and then click the Extracurricular Activities tab. The Extracurricular Activities tab displays. If any extracurricular activities exist for this term, they display in the data grid.
  3. Right-click in the data grid to open the Extracurricular Activities entry form.
  4. Select the appropriate extracurricular activity from the list (EXT CURRIC ACT glossary table).
  5. Click Add to save this information, or Cancel to exit without saving.

Note: You may add as many extracurricular activities as desired to the student for the selected term.
