Faculty Load Update

Faculty Load is the total load being carried by a faculty member. The load value is calculated based on the following formula:

Course Hours x Course Weight x Number of Students Enrolled, plus any thesis or dissertation activity where the Faculty is assigned as a Committee Member with a Weight greater than zero.

It remains as a workload contributor until either 1) the course completion date passes, or 2) the student receives a grade.

To update Faculty Load

  1. Click Faculty >Maintain >Update Load.
  2. Click Process. A list of all Faculty and their current loads will be displayed when the process is complete.

Note: Once started the process cannot be cancelled.
